A bit about us…
Originally a dairy farm, Fletchers Farm now a mixed livestock farm with lots of animals to see alongside our commercial working farm producing home reared pork, beef and lamb.
Our coffee shop was set up back in 2008 from inside the farmhouse, now in its own modern converted straw barn with indoor seating, log burner, balcony and beautiful views selling freshly prepared food and drinks from the menu including daily specials and Sunday Lunches with ample free parking for all coffee shop patrons.
Around the same time we also developed a small campsite located on the old pony paddocks surrounded by trees and beautiful views alongside the stream. It is open all year round offering 10 tent and 5 van/motorhome grass pitches with a separate rally field for D of E, clubs and events.
The new Farm Shop established more recently in 2017, now sells our own produce as well as locally sourced dairy products, eggs, deli-style meats, freshly baked artisan breads, vegetables, preserves, snacks, frozen and fresh foods, gifts, plants, home reared pork and lamb plus much more.
Over time we have completed a rustic feel to our Function Barn with a fully licenced bar now available for evening hire for birthday parties, anniversaries, charity nights, corporate events, evening receptions etc. We have a package to fit all with different catering and entertainment options.
From this we have also progressed into hosting weddings on the farm, both in the Barn and now on our new Wedding Venue site located away from the farm, along the fields at the foot of the hills surrounded by woodland and the lake for couples who want a marquee or tipi for their special day.
We also run annual events around the farm so look out for our next event which can be found on our what’s on page as they come round which are a lot of fun to organise and are growing in popularity each year.
There’s lots more to do at Fletchers Farm if you’re planning to make a day out of your visit including our children’s play area with an outdoor kiosk selling light refreshments during the summer months and plenty of outside seating for the coffee shop if you prefer to sit out. You can go for a walk or a farm tour or visit Great Ayton. There’s plenty to do and see here! Plus Buttercups Pottery painting is always open on site if you are feeling creative.
So whether you want to swing by for coffee and a spot of breakfast, lunch or dinner, do some shopping, party the night away or pitch your tent alongside the stream, see the animals and watch the kids have fun on the swings, enjoy a day out at one of our annual events or just take in the beautiful surroundings, we’d love to see you!
