    FAQ’s

Can we party on the campsite?
Due to us being a family campsite, parties are not aloud. Noise must be kept at a sensible level at all times and there must be no noise after 11pm.

Do you allow dogs on your site?
Yes we do, and at no extra cost! However, they must be kept on a lead and any mess MUST be tidied up. There is a dog waste bin on site. Farm fields, even if empty, are not to be used for walking dogs unless stated as a public footpath.

Do you allow BBQs and Fire pits?
We allow BBQs providing they are raised off the ground and do not burn the grass. We don’t allow fire pits but we do have a communal campfire which campers are more than welcome to use.

How far is the farm from Great Ayton?
The farm is just under a mile from the high street, a short 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk. There are a number of pubs in Great Ayton as well as a fish&chip shop, pizza takeaway, Co-op and Butchers. We are also a 3 minute walk from Great Ayton train station which runs trains to both Middlesbrough and Whitby.

Do I need to be a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club?
We are a Camping and Caravanning Club site and you must be a member. You can join online here using our site number 093/069. Once joined you will receive your membership number which we need along with a contact number when you book in

Do you allow Gazebos and Awnings?
Both gazebos and awnings of a standard size are allowed at no extra cost.

What are the arrival and departure times?
You can arrive anytime after 12noon on your chosen day, checking in at the Farm Shop upon arrival.
Departure is 11am during peak busy times, however if you need a little extra time please speak to a member of staff and we’ll try to help where we can.

How big are the pitches and are they flat?
Our pitches are not marked so caravan / motor-home size won’t be an issue. There is a slight slope within the top field but all pitches are on a first-come first-served basis so unless we’re fully booked you’ll have a choice of where to pitch.
