Here at Fletchers Farm there is much to do for the whole family when you come to visit us. We have a range of very friendly animals around the farm which you are more than welcome to say hello to; we have the pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, geese, and of course the calves. All of our animals love to meet new faces and have been hand reared making them the friendliest in the area. However, we do still urge you to take care when around the animals as they can spook easily.gallery_img_39As well as the animals, we also have a big outdoor play area with an idillic little stream running through and climbing frames/slides and swings for the kids to play on and burn off some of their energy.

In the summer of 2016 we opened ‘The Feed Trough’ serving drinks, snacks and ice cream to those outside. The kiosk is made from a beautiful wooden stable, in-keeping once again with our rustic farm theme and uses all the same teas & coffees as the coffee shop itself. We are also able to sell alcohol from the trough, so why not enjoy a glass of wine or a cool beer on those rare sunny days? We are constantly trying to add improvements and keep moving with the times and therefore as of 2018 we are now serving burgers and fries, baguette sandwiches and other treats to make your Fletchers Farm experience the best we can.

Finally, in depth tours of our Working Farm can be arranged for those of you who are keen to learn about British farming. Tractor and Trailor rides around our whole farm can also be arranged, taking in the beautiful countryside scenery under the watchful eye of Captain Cook’s Monument.

Please don’t forget that children must be supervised at all times and as we do not charge an entry fee this outdoor area is NOT a picnic area so only food purchased on site is to be consumed.
